Aliso Viejo, California – Zettler Controls, Inc introduces heat sequencers to our growing line of products for the HVAC/R industry. The ZC series of heat sequencers are used to stage heaters to prevent circuit overload. Common applications include electric furnaces, baseboard heaters, heat pump blowers and heating element controls. The device uses a positive temperature coefficient and bimetal disc(s) to initiate switching action. Contacts close after a given time range. The PTC is self-current limiting, ensuring stable switching action over a wide range of voltages.
